What do you get when you combine Marine boot camp drills with underwater relay races, cooking lessons and roping down the side of a building? You get the world’s largest urban adventure series; Chicago Sport and Social Club’s City Chase.
For this fun adventure series, Chicago Sport & Social created an advertising campaign that pushed participants outside of their comfort zones by showing some of the amazing and ridiculous challenges of City Chase. With headlines such as Dare Yourself, Test Yourself, and Push Yourself, we challenged each participant to join us in this amazing race.
During the course of the day, teams of two pair up to compete in various physical, mental and entertaining challenges that take them outside the box of traditional races. Participants will find themselves mapping their way through the city (either by foot or public transportation) to complete 10 ChasePoint challenges before making it to the finish line. The specifics of each unique ChasePoint are kept secret until race day, which means participants don’t know what they got into until that morning. Challenges vary, but past tasks included cooking with a renowned chef, a military boot camp at North Avenue Beach and rappelling down a building at Navy Pier.
