Nuance magazine is a collection of Art & Design interviews done by artists, interviewing other artists. The publication is owned by Columbia College Chicago. Twenty student designers were tasked with interviewing local Chicago designers to find out more about them, their career path and how they got into the Art & Design world.
Bringing it all together
With twenty designers each with their own eclectic styles, the art director role was to bring everything in cohesion. I was tasked with bringing individual spreads and combining them to the master document. As the art director, I also helped my fellow designers in design critiques, deadline reminders and layout changes. At the end, we had a magazine to be proud of with more than 80 pages of insightful interviews!
